Job summary

ASR International is seeking a contractor maintenance inventory specialist to manage spare parts and inventory for both facilities and maintenance teams at our Minden, NV site. The role emphasizes organized handling of cabinets with limited floor space and coordination with suppliers.

Responsibilities include procurement, stock management, travel arrangements, and cost reporting. Requires 2+ years inventory experience, proficiency with MS Office, and familiarity with maintenance software such as

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Procure spare parts and manage stock for active repair cases.
• Conduct cycle counts and maintain inventory records.
• Interface with suppliers to ensure quality, service, and delivery targets.
• Manage credit card and expense reporting.
• Arrange travel including hotel and transportation.
• Maintain calibration and certifications for tools and forklifts.
• Perform routine housekeeping to maintain the work area.

Job description

Overview:

ASR International Corp is seeking a contractor maintenance inventory specialist role. Job requirements will include ordering parts and managing physical inventory for both facilities and maintenance teams. With the limited floor space available, the position will require someone with fantastic organizational skills to manage spare parts within the cabinets currently available.

Location:

1631 Bently Pkwy South, Minden, NV 89423

Schedule:

6:00 AM- 2:30 PM Monday through Friday. OT available on nights and weekends if needed.

Contract Duration:

up to 12 months, possibility of extension

Typical Duties/Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Interface and communicate with suppliers to ensure performance are aligned with quality, service, and delivery targets, to ensure continuous improvement and optimal business relationships.
• Responsible for procurement and stock of inventory. This will include procurement of spare parts for an active repair case.
• Manages credit card and expense reporting.
• Orchestrate travel arrangements and itinerates including hotel and transportation.
• Performs cycle counts and maintains inventory records of spare parts.
• Manage tools with calibration requirements.
• Manage fork truck certifications.
• Performs routine housekeeping tasks to maintain work area.

Qualifications/Required Skills:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of relevant inventory experience.
• Desired to have experience with a maintenance management software, particularly maintenance connection (Accruent).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
• Have the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Be results driven with a keen eye for detail and being detail oriented.
• Showing up consistently and on time.
• Completing tasks accurately with minimal supervision.
• Following through on assigned responsibilities.
• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident
