Inventory Specialist

Location: Stockbridge, GA

We are currently hiring an Inventory Specialist in the Stockbridge, GA area. We have several opportunities available due to our growing needs! We are specifically looking for entry-level candidates interested in a long-term career with opportunities for growth, development, and advancement. Pay Rate: Starting at $19.00+ per hour

Shift: 1st shift, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Updating inventory counts and maintaining inventory records for management.
  2. Performing quality checks on stored inventory and discarding items that do not meet standards.
  3. Stocking and verifying received items in their proper bins or locations.
  4. Breaking down full cases of produce into smaller units.
  5. Sorting through pallets of damaged or defective products.
  6. Maintaining the facility's integrity through cycle counts and audits.
  7. Assisting with monthly and quarterly physical inventories.

Requirements:

  1. High School Diploma or GED.
  2. Ability to stand for 8 or more hours.
  3. Ability to pass drug and background checks.
  4. Keen eye for detail.
  5. Strong math skills.
  6. Analytical and data-driven work experience.
  7. At least 3 years of inventory experience.
  8. Forklift experience (stand-up, reach, sit-down, clamp, cherry picker).
  9. Good written and verbal communication skills.
  10. Reliable transportation (location not accessible by public transit).

Additional Details:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shift, overtime as needed
  • Work location: In person
