Job description

Job Title: Inventory Specialist

Summary: The Inventory Specialist plays a vital role in managing the inventory program. They oversee processes and procedures for a designated program, focusing on large-volume, small-part inventory management. The role requires strong organizational skills, data analysis, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track all inventory used by contractors for WIFI cable installation, including materials such as splitters, construction materials, vaults, and markers, on contractor sites.
  • Label and organize inventory in designated locations, which are not in client warehouses but on contractor sites, often within buildings or small warehouses.
  • Verify stock information and unit identification numbers.
  • Perform inventory audits, cycle counts, and equipment parts management.
  • Unpackage, sort, and stage units for production.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Perform duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Requirements:

  1. Verify stock information and unit identification numbers.
  2. Audit equipment and parts.
  3. Maintain accurate inventory records.
  4. Perform cycle counts and audits per company policies.
  5. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and work outdoors for extended periods.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Proficiency in computer and Excel skills is a plus.
