Role Overview

The Inventory Specialist will manage all vehicle inventory at the facility within company timelines. Responsibilities include documenting vehicle conditions with photographs, directing traffic flow in the receiving area to ensure timely processing, and offering solutions to meet customer needs based on a thorough understanding of Copart policy.

Responsibilities

1. Monitor, maintain, and organize the receiving area.
2. Operate cameras and handheld inventory devices to process incoming vehicles.
3. Perform vehicle inspections and inventories, including TLEs on required vehicles.
4. Maintain inventory of materials used.
5. Ensure compliance with company policies and safety requirements.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

1. Must be 18 years or older.
2. Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
3. General automotive knowledge or mechanical aptitude preferred.
4. Basic computer skills; experience with handheld devices preferred.
5. Strong attention to detail.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
7. Driver's license preferred.
8. Bilingual skills are a plus.
