Role Overview

Quantum Services is hiring a reliable, detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our Salt Lake City team. In this hands-on field role, you will work on-site at client locations across the region—performing precise, digitized stock counts in convenience store environments.

This role involves local daily route travel as well as occasional overnight travel (typically 3-5 nights per month) to support client sites across Northern Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Nebraska. Key Responsibilities

• Field Stock Counts: Conduct accurate physical inventory audits of store merchandise, sales floors, stockrooms, and walk-in coolers/freezers.

• Scanner Operations: Utilize handheld data entry keypads to scan barcodes and record stock numbers quickly and accurately.

• Team Collaboration: Work directly with Division Managers and store personnel to complete audits efficiently and communicate post-audit findings.

Schedule & Travel Details

• Schedule: Monday - Friday | Full-Time.

• Audit Kickoff Time: Field audits always kick off at 5:00 AM sharp (departure times vary depending on daily route distance).

• Regional & Specialty Overnight Travel: Local daily route travel, plus occasional overnight stays (typically 3-5 nights per month) supporting routes in Northern Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Nebraska. All travel time is paid, and overnight lodging/expenses are fully covered.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Reliable Transportation: Valid Driver’s License, active personal auto insurance, reliable personal vehicle, and a clean driving record (MVR check required).

• Travel Flexibility: Ability and willingness to complete occasional overnight stays (up to 3-5 nights/month).

• Physical Capability: Ability to stand, bend, squat, use short step-ladders, lift up to 25 lbs, and operate handheld keypads in varying temperatures (including walk-in coolers).

• Work Ethic & Tech Comfort: Strong attention to detail, comfort using handheld keypads, and basic math/numerical skills.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
