Job summary

Capital Vacations, LLC is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support the Inventory Team in monitoring PMS for inventory and reservation issues at our Myrtle Beach location. You will ensure proper room assignments and serve as the central contact for resort staff on reservation matters.

The role requires organization, multi-tasking, and strong communication skills, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Relevant hotel/timeshare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors PMS for reservation placement to ensure proper utilization.
• Acts as point of contact for resort staff on reservations/inventory issues.
• Collaborates with resort staff to identify best practices and maintenance timeframes.
• Oversees inventory usage to ensure proper utilization.
• Handles emergency out-of-service requests including relocations.
• Provides inventory support to marketing, member services and other sales channels as needed.
• Enters and monitors inbound Exchange activity and Ownership Club inbounds for assigned resorts.
• Communicates with owners as needed.
• Willing to cross-train in all department areas as needed.
• Performs other duties as requested.

Job Description

Purpose

The Inventory Specialist’s key objective is to assist the Inventory Team with day-to-day monitoring of PMS for inventory and reservation related issues.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitors PMS for reservation placement (room assignments) to ensure proper utilization
• Point of contact for resort staff for issues related to reservations including - inventory allocations, overbookings, out of order rooms, any other questions related to inventory/reservations
• Work with Resort Staff to identify operational best practices and desirable maintenance timeframes
• Oversee Inventory usage assuring that it is properly utilized
• Handle all emergency out of service requests which may include reservation relocations
• Provide as needed inventory assistance to marketing, member services, and other sales channels to maximize inventory utilization
• Enters and monitors inbound Exchange activity and various Ownership Club’s inbounds for assigned resorts
• Communicate with owners on an as needed basis
• Willing to be cross trained in all aspects of the department to assist where needed
• All other duties as requested

Job Requirements

Education, Essential Training / Certifications and Experience

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1-2 Years Hotel/ Resort Operations or Timeshare experience preferred
