Job summary

ASR International Corp. in Minden, NV is seeking a contractor maintenance inventory specialist to order parts and manage physical inventory for facilities and maintenance teams.

The role requires excellent organizational skills to manage spare parts within limited cabinet space, with a 6:00 AM–2:30 PM schedule, and a contract duration of up to 12 months with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of relevant inventory experience.
• Experience with maintenance software is a plus (Accruent).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Interface with suppliers to ensure quality, service and delivery targets.
• Procure and stock spare parts for active repair cases.
• Manage credit card and expense reporting.
• Arrange travel including hotels and transportation.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain spare parts records.
• Manage tools with calibration requirements.

Overview

ASR International Corp is seeking a contractor maintenance inventory specialist role. Job requirements will include ordering parts and managing physical inventory for both facilities and maintenance teams. With the limited floor space available, the position will require someone with fantastic organizational skills to manage spare parts within the cabinets currently available.

Location

1631 Bently Pkwy South,Minden, NV 89423

Schedule

6:00 AM- 2:30 PM Monday through Friday. OT available on nights and weekends if needed.

Contract Duration

up to 12 months, possibility of extension

Typical Duties/Tasks/Responsibilities

• Interface and communicate with suppliers to ensure performance are aligned with quality, service, and delivery targets, to ensure continuous improvement and optimal business relationships.
• Responsible for procurement and stock of inventory. This will include procurement of spare parts for an active repair case.
• Manages credit card and expense reporting.
• Orchestrate travel arrangements and itinerates including hotel and transportation.
• Performs cycle counts and maintains inventory records of spare parts.
• Manage tools with calibration requirements.
• Manage fork truck certifications.
• Performs routine housekeeping tasks to maintain work area.

Qualifications/Required Skills

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of relevant inventory experience.
• Desired to have experience with a maintenance management software, particularly maintenance connection (Accruent).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
• Have the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Be results driven with a keen eye for detail and being detail oriented.
• Showing up consistently and on time.
• Completing tasks accurately with minimal supervision.
• Following through on assigned responsibilities.
• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident
