Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure transactions are properly recorded.
  • Perform cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies to maintain high inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability to support operations.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, procurement, and production teams.
  • Analyze inventory data and prepare reports on performance and accuracy.
  • Process adjustments, transfers, and reconciliations within ERP systems.
  • Identify and support initiatives to reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and audit requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance inventory management.

Job Description Summary The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring material availability to support business operations, and driving inventory control processes. This role works closely with warehouse, logistics, procurement, production, and planning teams to monitor inventory levels, investigate discrepancies, conduct cycle counts, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Job Description Key responsibilities/essential functions include:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory transactions are properly recorded.
  • Perform cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory audits.

  • Process inventory adjustments, transfers, and reconciliations within ERP systems.
  • Identify and support initiatives to reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory control procedures, and audit requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance inventory management processes and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support internal and external audits.
  • Comply with EHS regulations and policies; identify and report any EHS concern and support corrective actions.
Quality Expectations:
  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and support corrective actions
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Materials, Supply Chain Management or related OR 2+ years relevant expedrience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, Power Point, and Word
Preferred Qualifications:
  • APICS Certification Oracle knowledge and experience
  • Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Working knowledge of MRP
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
