Job summary

Forvia's MATERI'ACT division is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support manufacturing operations. You will maintain accurate inventory, monitor material movements, and ensure materials are available when needed.

Key responsibilities include cycle counts, updating SAP transactions, monitoring receipts and transfers, and preparing basic inventory reports. You will collaborate with Operations, Warehouse and Supply Chain teams to improve accuracy and material flow.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in inventory, warehouse, logistics or manufacturing.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred.
  • English language minimum; good Excel skills.

We are looking for an Inventory Specialist to support our manufacturing operations. The person will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, monitoring material movements, and ensuring materials are available when needed.

Main missions:

  • Manage and monitor inventory levels.
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventory.
  • Investigate and correct inventory discrepancies.
  • Enter and update inventory transactions in SAP.
  • Monitor material receipts, transfers, and consumption.
  • Support Operation, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Prepare basic inventory reports.
  • Help improve inventory accuracy and material flow.
  • Follow company inventory and safety procedures.
Your profile and competencies to succeed

Minimum education level:

  • Bachelors degree in industrial or supply-chain management highly preferred

Professional Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
  • Experience in the compound/plastics/materials industry is a plus.

Skills and competencies:

  • Minimum English language required
  • Good Excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
