Job summary

ManpowerGroup is recruiting an Inventory Specialist -CF 1028 for a Charleston, SC site. The role supports inventory management and process optimization within the warehouse operations team, reporting to on-site leadership.

The candidate will ensure accuracy of stock levels, assist in process improvements, and coordinate with production for timely shipments while working a 6:00 am–2:30 pm, Monday–Friday shift at the distribution site.

Our client, a leading logistics and distribution organization, is seeking a Inventory Specialist -CF 1028 to join their team. As a Inventory Specialist -CF 1028, you will be part of the warehouse operations team supporting inventory management and process optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a willingness to learn and adapt, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Inventory Specialist -CF 1028

Location: Charleston, SC

Pay Range: $18

Shift: 6am – 2:30pm, Monday through Friday

What’s the Job?

• Assist in managing, controlling, and monitoring workflows at the distribution site

• Manage inventory levels and supplies to ensure operational efficiency

• Support training and development of warehouse staff across all activities including receiving, stocking, processing, and shipping

• Prepare summaries and analyses on operational performance and communicate regularly with the production team

• Ensure finished products are prepared for shipment according to customer requirements and monitor inventory for potential shortages

What’s Needed?

• Must be able to operate a Cherry picker or High Reach forklift

• Good understanding of inventory management principles

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

• Cycle counting experience and physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
