Job description

MEI Auto Group is currently seeking an Inventory Specialist. This position is responsible for performing a variety of duties related to customer service and inventory management within the dealership. The role involves daily interaction with all departments of Fixed Operations, including Service Advisors, Service Managers, support staff, and customers.

Responsibilities :
  • Ensure daily maintenance and security of the building, display areas, and work-in-progress zones.
  • Assist with daily vehicle inventory reconciliation, ensuring all vehicles have required window and federal stickers.
  • Remove repossessed vehicles from customers' property following proper procedures.
  • Drive vehicles to and from various locations for reconditioning and deliver them to the correct storage areas.
  • Maintain the interior and exterior of the dealership facilities to company standards.
  • Perform vehicle receiving and check-in processes, including cosmetic inspection, photography, drive cycle, and quality checks.
  • Ensure vehicles move through the reconditioning process according to meiGroup’s standards and maintain cleanliness and organization following the 5’s standards.
  • Complete assigned tasks independently and follow up after completion.
  • Possess general mechanical knowledge to jump-start and drive vehicles.
  • Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed, including performing deliveries.
  • Read, interpret, and transcribe data accurately to maintain records.
  • Perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications :

Working Conditions :
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to walk, bend, or stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for several hours.
  • Shift flexibility including nights, weekends, holidays, and 12-hour days or a 50-hour workweek.
  • Must wear meiGroup’s clothing at all times while working.
Compensation :

Depends on experience.

Schedule :

Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, with occasional Saturdays.

Education / Experience :
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
