Kraken Kinetics in Moore County, NC is seeking an Inventory Associate to manage outbound shipments, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure materials flow smoothly from fabrication to final shipment. The role collaborates with production, program managers, and supply chain to keep shipments accurate, labeled, and documented, while performing hands-on warehouse tasks daily.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in shipping, receiving, warehousing, logistics or inventory.
• Experience with inventory systems or warehouse tracking software (Fishbowl preferred).
• Proficient with spreadsheets and standard office software.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and tracking of materials.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication with production staff and managers.

Responsibilities

• Package and prepare outbound shipments across three local Kraken Kinetics locations.
• Label, document, and coordinate shipments with carriers.
• Maintain shipment documentation: packing slips, logs, tracking records.
• Inform internal customers about shipment delays or issues due to carriers.
• Verify shipment contents against internal docs before release.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and move inventory between locations.
• Support cycle counts and periodic inventory checks.
• Assist with movement of finished goods to shipping areas.
• Ensure proper labeling in staging areas and assist receiving when needed.
• Keep shipping work areas clean and organized; report discrepancies.
