Job summary

Guhring, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Clerk to handle the administrative functions of the shipping department, including receiving purchase orders, stock transfers, and customer returns, as well as inventory control duties.

The role involves unpacking and verifying deliveries, processing returns, performing cycle counts, and placing stock in proper locations while also packing customer orders for Standard Tool items. Strong math and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year in packaging, warehousing or material handling.
• Preferred 2 years warehousing in manufacturing with inventory control experience.
• Knowledge of SAP and cycle counting duties.

Responsibilities

• Unpack, verify, and receive in items from vendor purchase orders.
• Process customer returns in a timely manner.
• Receive in all other vendor purchase orders.
• Perform inventory control duties including stock checks and cycle counts.
• Pull, pack and ship customer orders for Standard Tool catalog items.
• Package and label Special orders and transfer to packing line.
• Verify counts and place incoming inventory in storage locations.
• Operate shipping computer and scale to weigh and label packages.
