Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to transfer inventory in AS400, assist customers at will-call, answer calls, enter data, and support freight movement with accurate bills of lading and data entry.

The role requires one year shipping/receiving experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ability to work overtime. You will log receipts, resolve discrepancies, and support forklift drivers with timely information.

Qualifications

• Education/Certifications: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: One year of experience in shipping and receiving is required
• Job requires knowledge/understanding of operational, technical and office processes
• Ability to use office equipment including computer and related software/hardware, fax, copy, calculator, FedEx Power Ship.

Responsibilities

• Transfer raw product from the warehouse to the plant and finished goods to the vendors.
• Investigate and correct inventory errors and notify supervisors of any discrepancies.
• Log receipts into the product report by verifying amounts, product code dates and numbers; enter data into the computer system.
• Process bills of lading by ensuring product is available in inventory and prepare handbills for outbound shipments.
• Assist customers at the will-call window and direct drivers to pickup/delivery locations.
• Receive and initiate phone calls to set appointments for deliveries.
