Job summary

The State of South Carolina is seeking an Inventory and Warehouse Associate to support routine and advanced duties in inventory, material, and equipment management. You will develop skills across front counter operations and warehouse shipping/receiving, progressing through entry to more specialized tasks based on performance.

Responsibilities include training others, verifying shipments, maintaining records, and coordinating with truck drivers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related work experience.
• Associates degree preferred for advanced roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading/unloading materials and equipment and maintain records.
• Verify packing slips and manage incoming/outgoing shipments.
• Provide accurate inventory data and coordinate with drivers on deliveries.
• Support front counter duties and help maintain inventory management software.
• Train and mentor less experienced staff in procedures and safety.
