Job summary

Kids for the Future in Columbia, SC is seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate to ensure efficient movement and control of inventory across dock, sales floor, repair, and customer pickup. You will unload trailers, prepare shipments, and log receipts and deliveries while upholding safety and service standards.

As a non-exempt team member, you will support staging merchandise, assist customers loading items, and help maintain floor presentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and move at least 50 pounds.
• Prior warehouse or retail experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads merchandise from trailers (Receiving).
• Fills order requests, stages merchandise and ships items (Shipping).
• Moves merchandise between dock, stockroom, sales floor and customer pickup areas.
• Maintains accuracy of inventory staging areas and logs shipments.
• Assists customers by delivering items to their car or arranging pickup.
