Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is actively seeking an Assistant Receiver to support the Warehouse Manager in receiving, staging, replenishing, and inventory control. You will help ensure that all customer orders are completed accurately and on time.

You will contribute to maintaining orderly receiving docks, documenting transactions, and adhering to safety and quality standards while coordinating with AP and Operations. A teamwork mindset and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing best practices in distribution with a focus on receiving and inventory control.
• Ability to analyze and report data to management clearly and concisely.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Supports receiving, warehousing, and distribution by coordinating and supporting policies and procedures.
• Maintains inventory by performing physical counts and reconciling with the system.
• Keeps warehouse clean and compliant with standards; ensures timely put-away and accuracy of inventory.
• Ensures inbound trucks are scheduled properly and product remains wholesome and intact.
• Documents accurately and reports discrepancies to AP, Purchasing, and Operations Management.
• Supports other warehouse functions and assists day-to-day operations as needed.
