Responsibilities

• Utilize merchandise moving equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks) to move shipments from receiving to storage.
• Assist with unloading, handling and moving freight as needed.
• Unpack and inspect incoming shipments, record overages, shortages, and damages.
• Compare PO/shipping notices to goods received; verify order accuracy and maintain records.
• Attach or change price tags on merchandise.
• Prepare merchandise for the sales floor; deliver to the floor.
• Enter information into computer systems to maintain inventory and records; respond to inquiries.
