Job summary

White Cap is hiring a Receiving Associate on-site to.receive, count, store items and ensure accurate data entry using our company software.

The role typically requires 0–2 years of experience and may prefer forklift experience, Oracle familiarity, and Spanish language skills. You will support purchasing, coordinate with shipping vendors, and help resolve delivery issues as part of a busy distribution operation.

Qualifications

• Experience with receiving and inventory processes is preferred.
• Knowledge of operating a forklift is a plus.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receives, counts and stores items.
• Records receiving data using a computer and company software.
• Packs, unpacks, and marks stock items properly and accurately.
• Identifies incorrect or short shipped items and notifies supervisor.
• Communicates with shipping vendors to resolve delivery issues.
• Delivers products to the designated area.
• Works with purchasing to track shortages for late deliveries.
• Files purchase orders correctly per company policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 0-2 years of experience.
