ITW Shakeproof in Elgin, IL is seeking a Receiving Clerk to support inventory accuracy, material movement, and logistics. This role ensures materials are received, stored, and distributed efficiently at our Elgin facility, onsite, with a standard schedule of 8:00 a.m.

to 4:00 p.m. You will perform BOM adjustments, issue materials to production, coordinate shipments, and handle various warehouse tasks while complying with safety and quality standards.

Competenze

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in a warehouse, plant, distribution environment preferred.
• Material handling experience preferred.
• Experience operating stand-up or sit-down forklifts required.
• Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with QAD preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Mansioni

• Maintain inventory accuracy by locating inventory, processing corrections, and updating records.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies to support control.
• Perform routing and BOM adjustments within the ERP system as required.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Create production IDs, purchase orders, and material transactions to support manufacturing operations.
• Issue materials to production IDs and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Coordinate shipments to and from external vendors.
• Scan production logs and validate records for completeness and accuracy.
• Perform hand-sorting, packing, and material preparation activities as needed.
• Manage the return and movement of empty tubs, totes, pallets, and containers between facilities.
• Prepare and ship supplies and materials to vendors.
• Support scrap disposal and recycling processes.
• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain compliance with safety policies and housekeeping standards.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory, logistics, and warehouse operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
