The University of Virginia is seeking a motivated individual for an inventory control position in Charlottesville. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, and managing inventory in a retail bookstore, ensuring accuracy in the inventory system. Candidates must possess a high school diploma and a valid driver's license, with the ability to handle heavy lifting.

This position is responsible for performing the tasks involved in receiving, storing, and inventory control of merchandise in a retail bookstore environment. Verifying goods received against Purchase Orders (PO's), quality of logos and condition of goods and creating bins for final storage in warehouses. May also perform inventory control, including cycle count, data entry, report generation and reconciliation.
This position is located in Charlottesville, VA.

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
Anticipated Hiring Range: $15.00 - $18.00 hourly,commensurate with education and experience. This is a non-exempt level, benefited position.
