Job summary

Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace is hiring a Receiver to review inventory, write and submit purchase orders, track orders, and arrange shipments. You will also receive shipments, organize stock, and uphold safety standards in the warehouse.

The role requires data entry skills, proficiency with inventory software and MS Office, and the ability to work independently while maintaining strong organization and communication with suppliers.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years warehouse experience, preferably grocery.
• Proficient data entry and inventory software.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Physical dexterity and ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift if licensed).

Responsibilities

• Review inventory and determine what supplies to order.
• Write purchase orders and submit to vendors.
• Track orders and arrange shipment of items.
• Receive incoming shipments and maintain stock.
• Ensure safety procedures and a neat, orderly warehouse.
