Job summary

Torus, Inc. in Salt Lake City is seeking a detail-oriented Receiver to join our warehouse team and manage incoming inventory at GigaOne and the South Salt Lake facility.

You will be the first contact for shipments, verify accuracy, and ensure data integrity in the warehouse management system. This full-time, on-site role requires 4+ years in warehouse or receiving, forklift certification, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in warehouse, shipping, or receiving operations.
• Proven experience in a receiving-specific role within a warehouse environment.
• Certified or highly proficient in forklift operation and moving heavy materials.
• Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a solution-based mindset for resolving shipping discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Accept deliveries from truck drivers and verify that shipments are intended for our warehouse.
• Check packing slips, bills of lading, and purchase orders for accuracy.
• Inspect incoming products for damage, missing items, or incorrect quantities.
• Compare arrived goods against system orders to identify discrepancies.
• Enter received items into the NetSuite warehouse management system, including scanning barcodes and labeling products.
• Update stock levels and ensure inventory is properly organized and labeled for storage.
• Communicate effectively with purchasing, inventory control, and warehouse staff regarding arrivals or shipment issues.
• Utilize pallet jacks or forklifts to move materials to staging areas or storage locations.
• File paperwork related to shipments and report all shortages or damages.
