Job summary

DSV is seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant, Inventory for the 1st shift (Mon-Fri 6:30 AM-2:30 PM) to ensure accurate centralized data capture and perform product inspections and quality control audits. You will conduct shipping distribution inspections, sampling and testing operations, and assess draft and final label copy according to regulations.

Efforts aim to minimize downtime by reducing rework and recalls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Effective written and oral communication skills required.
• Generally prefer 3–6 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise operators on escalation procedures.
• Document inbound and trailer defects and enter data into Damage Reduction Database.
• Report and follow-up on all inbound and trailer defects (return, rework, accessorial).
• Perform quality checks and release product when required.
• Conduct root cause analysis and action plans for quality issues.
