Job summary

AtWork Personnel seeks a Purchasing & Inventory Specialist for 1st shift in Fairfield, OH to manage purchasing activities, maintain accurate inventory, and ensure materials are available to support production and offices.

The role collaborates with vendors, production teams, and internal stakeholders, conducts cycle counts, creates purchase orders, and helps optimize costs while using Epicor ERP to maintain precise records.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of purchasing and inventory control experience.
• Experience with ERP systems; Epicor experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits; investigate discrepancies.
• Create purchase orders, verify pricing, and monitor delivery schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials to prevent shortages or excess.
• Coordinate with vendors and production teams for material availability.
• Resolve supplier issues involving quality, pricing, and delivery.
• Maintain organized inventory records and storage areas.
• Prepare inventory reports and metrics for management.
• Support shipping and receiving activities as needed.
• Maintain inventory records during Epicor ERP system implementation.
• Assist with inventory transition to the facility.
• Identify new products, trends, and cost-saving opportunities.
