Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking an Inventory/Planning Coordinator for our Florham Park, NJ facility as part of the Global Supply Chain Warehouse Operations team. This first-shift role focuses on material planning, staging, and ensuring BOM-based accuracy to support production.

The successful candidate will manage inbound/outbound materials, perform cycle counts, and coordinate with procurement to resolve discrepancies, driving dock-to-stock improvements and lean warehouse practices.

Qualifications

  • US citizenship required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with MRP systems (Infor preferred)
  • Experience in inventory management and control
  • Knowledge of inbound/outbound logistics and packaging
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Release planned production orders
  • Pre-stage and stage material kits, deliver to production area
  • Verify 100% inventory accuracy of material kits using BOM
  • Perform material transactions in MRP (Infor)
  • Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory
  • Provide oversight of work in progress
  • Address material obsolescence and expired items
  • Disposition life limited materials
  • Improve warehouse processes and visual controls
  • Coordinate outbound shipments with logistics providers

The Opportunity

CACI specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of complex, state-of-the-art systems for military, space, and commercial applications. We are currently looking for a Material Handler (First Shift) to join the Global Supply Chain Warehouse Operations team based in Florham Park, NJ.

Responsibilities
  • Release planned production orders
  • Pre-stage and stage material kits, deliver material kits to production area
  • Using the bill of materials (BOM), verify 100% inventory accuracy of material kits prior to delivery to Manufacturing environment
  • Perform material transactions in Material Resource Planning (MRP) business application (Infor)
  • Perform regular inventory management including cycle counts, physical inventory
  • Provide oversight of manufacturing “work in progress”
  • Perform inventory analysis to address material obsolescence and expired
  • Effectively manage and disposition life limited materials
  • Drive process discipline and effectively communicate shortfalls
  • Strengthen warehouse operations through sorting, organizing, simplifying, standardizing and visual controls
Packaging, Shipping And Receiving
  • Execute packaging, shipping, and receiving recurring activities
  • Perform material packaging in accordance with Engineering requirements, ensuring adequate part protection
  • Verify inbound (receiving) material accuracy using pertinent information (purchase order, bill of lading)
  • Partner with Procurement Operations to resolve inbound receiving discrepancies
  • Receive inbound materials, stock and update business application (Infor) with physical location and quantities
  • Perform inbound receipt of serialized/LOT controlled materials
  • Coordinate and schedule outbound shipments with logistics providers
  • Drive reduction to “dock-to-stock” time
  • Strengthen warehouse operations through sorting, organizing, simplifying, standardizing and visual controls
Qualifications

Required:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with MRP systems (preferably Infor)
  • Experience in inventory management and control
  • Knowledge of inbound/outbound logistics and packaging
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired
  • Experience in Aerospace, Defense, or Space industries
  • Some college education or relevant work experience
  • Understanding of LEAN principles
  • Familiarity with serialized/LOT controlled materials

The Proposed Salary Range For This Position Is

$49,900 - $100,000
