Job summary

CACI is seeking a Materials Planner II to join our logistics team in Springfield, VA. The role supports documentation of equipment, resources, and technical orders, and assists in logistics management, spares database maintenance, shipping, and an operational spares program.

The candidate will handle asset reception, lifecycle replacement, and interactions with DoD logistics centers, with a focus on maintaining readiness and compliance. Strong background in logistics and procurement is required.

Qualifications

  • Must have an active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field; Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management are required.
  • 4+ years' experience working in a Logistics warehouse or Logistics environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the transportation of classified and unclassified intelligence IT equipment throughout the world
  • Provide procurement services for the annual hardware maintenance
  • Work customs issues for worldwide transportation
  • Work with customers and funding personnel to ensure appropriate funding is available to meet logistics requirements
  • Assist in logistics management, equipment and spares database management, shipping and tracking, and managing an operational spares program
  • Assist in Lifecycle replacement, sanitization, disposal, and turn in of all assets
  • Requires minimal guidance and direction from more senior level technicians, specialists, and managers.
  • Provide procurement services for usable end items as part of base services.
  • Provide procurement and integrated logistics and receive accountable assets and non-accountable assets as part of base services.
  • Works individually and actively participates on integrated teams
  • Understands and applies more advanced concepts and processes to daily activities.
  • Possesses general understanding of relationships with DoD logistics centers, users, and other logistics related organizations.
  • Possesses a working knowledge of DoD 5000.1, DoD 5000.2, logistics policies and procedures covered in and applicable military standards

The Opportunity:

This role will also help with in logistics management, equipment and spares database management, shipping and tracking, and managing an operational spares program

Resposibilities:

  • Possesses knowledge and provides support in the development of support documentation to include elements such as support equipment, technical orders, supply support and computer resources support, and the process of evolving and establishing maintenance/support concepts
  • Provides support in procurement and management processes with an understanding and knowledge of the logistics-associated reliability & maintainability (R & M) functions
  • Provide asset management and asset accountability services for accountable assets per month.
  • Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management

Pay Range :

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$59,600 - $122,100
