Job summary

Abbott is seeking a detail‑oriented inventory control professional to join the Columbus Plant team. You will handle material movement, maintain records, and ensure adherence to warehousing procedures while coordinating with procurement.

The role requires 3+ years in inventory control, a high school diploma, and the ability to work onsite in Columbus, OH. Strong MS Excel and data analysis skills are essential.

Qualifications

• HSD, plus 3+ years of experience within inventory control and supply chain required.
• Must be able to work full‑time onsite in Columbus, OH
• Understanding of material control, inventory, purchasing, supply chain
• Strong proficiency with MS Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
• Ability to organize and analyze data

Responsibilities

• Performs inventory movement and clerical duties in the materials control area, such as receiving, stocking, and issuing materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
• Adheres to established materials control, inventory, warehousing and purchasing procedures.
• Creates and maintains all material transaction records (receipts, transfers, issues, returns, shipments, adjustments).
• Enters and maintains purchase orders in manufacturing/business systems.
• Coordinates stock replacement with procurement and prepares inventory analyses.
