Brookshire Grocery Company in Tyler, TX seeks an Inventory/Purchasing Analyst to manage purchase orders and maintain inventory balances across warehouses. The role forecasts needs, maximizes inbound/outbound service, and collaborates with category management and logistics to drive cost savings.

The candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years' experience, strong Excel/SAP skills, and will work on-site in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field and 5+ years related experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of inventory management, forecasting, and retail operations.
Proficiency with SAP reporting and MS Office suite is expected.

Responsibilities

Monitors assigned inventory levels and adjusts accordingly based on forecasted needs.
Executes plans developed by category managers including displays, marketing plans, and promotions.
Works with category managers to execute forward buys as appropriate.
Reviews opportunities to purchase from alternative or non-traditional sources.
Monitors performance and service levels of vendor products/partners.
Maintains effective working relationships with internal teams (store operations, logistics, accounting, manufacturing, store brands).
Achieves service level and inventory turn objectives as expected.
Communicates issues to leadership with market context.
