Job summary

Walgreens Co. in Uniondale, NY, seeks an Inventory Support role to manage front end and pharmacy stock, execute inventory controls, and ensure accurate pricing and planograms.

You will assist with receiving, counting, ordering, returns, and vendor coordination, while maintaining excellent customer service in a busy retail environment. You will also participate in store opening/closing, cash handling, and use of POS and inventory systems, contributing to On-Shelf Availability and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• 6 months of prior Walgreens experience or 1 year of retail experience for external candidates.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task and execute.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor inventory best practices for front end and pharmacy.
• Review reports and systems to ensure accuracy of on-hand balances and pricing.
• Perform pricing updates, returns, and shelf tag accuracy.
• Open and close store duties as assigned, including cash handling and POS tasks.
• Support inventory processes including receiving, counting, ordering, and vendor returns.
