Job summary

Kimble Company is seeking a Parts Clerk to perform storeroom and inventory duties, including receiving, storing, and distributing parts to shop mechanics and drivers. The role involves data entry in Spectrum, cycle counts, and maintaining orderly storeroom areas. Flexible first shift hours are noted.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of purchasing systems, inventory principles, and shop environments.
• Proficient with a computer and data entry.
• Prior inventory control experience.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, receive, inspect/count for match against PO, store, issue, transport, and package/prepare return goods for shipment.
• Review and prepare inventory reports to assure inventory accuracy and improve logistical support efforts.
• Research, investigate, coordinate and resolve inventory material discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory levels, document retention/filing, material receiving, transferring & storage of parts to designated areas, stock shelves.
• Communicate with vendors to order, verify information, expedite, and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Input received material, issue inventory, maintain inventory/purchasing/equipment/vendor master files using Spectrum.
• Distribute parts to mechanics, drivers and other employees using provided information.
