Job summary

Kimble Companies in Dover, OH is seeking a Parts Runner for the Maintenance Shop. You will walk the shop floor to identify needed parts, go to the warehouse to fetch them, and bring them back to the mechanics.

The role demands physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfort working in an outdoor or shop environment. A pre-employment drug screen and background check are required. Schedule includes two shifts: 6am-4pm and 3pm-1am.

Qualifications

• Regularly stand for long periods of time.
• Able to bend, stoop, climb, reach.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Work in an outdoor or shop environment.
• General knowledge of cleaning standards utilizing tools such as brooms, shovels, rakes, etc.
• Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment drug screen, background, & motor vehicle records check.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Must have physical strength and flexibility to complete assigned job tasks.
• Moving and sorting parts in shop.
• Sweeping shop, sidewalks and wash bays.
• Picking up garbage at the facility and along the road.
• General cleaning and maintaining work environment in the shop or other assigned areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

Kimble Companies is looking for a Parts Runner to help in the Dover Maintenance Shop. This position will be walking the shop floor to see what parts mechanics need, going to the warehouse to get those parts and then bringing them back to the shop.
