Job summary

Miniat LLC is seeking an Inventory Parts Clerk for 2nd shift in South Holland, IL. The role involves receiving, stocking, and managing spare parts inventory for the maintenance department, with a safety-minded attitude aligned to our safety culture.

Qualifications

• Able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
• Able to lift up to 30-40 pounds, 10-15% of day.
• Able to operate a pallet jack and lift truck.
• Able to work flexible hours as needed (occasional weekend or 2 nd shift).
• Proficient with and strong aptitude for computers.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• Knowledge of storekeeping practices a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs Physical Inventory, cycle counts and audits of stock items.
• Receives UPS, FedEx and other deliveries.
• Distributes packages to appropriate departments.
• Receives stock and direct issue items within EAM (CMMS).
• Communicate with and notify Planner/Scheduler of Planned Parts received.
• Prints barcode labels/tags for new inventory and stores items in the established inventory location.
• Creates part numbers and inventory locations for new items.
• Provides assistance to mechanics and operators in locating parts.
• Restocking of unused items.
• Maintains organization and cleanliness of the storeroom area, shelving, and cabinets.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $17.00 To $19.80 Hourly

Position Description:

Performs duties to receive, stock, and manage inventory of spare parts for the maintenance department with safety-minded attitude that maintains and enhances a safety culture for the benefit of the Company and its employees.

This is a union position and comes with benefits provided by the union, upon completion of the 90 day probationary period. Benefits include: medical, vision and dental as well as 1 week of paid time off after 1 year of employment.
