Responsibilities

  • Help determine proper inventory levels to maximize customer service and profitability.
  • Evaluate stock to decide what should be stocked or phased out.
  • Collaborate with inventory review teams to support informed stocking decisions.
  • Implement and maintain vendor-managed inventory programs.
  • Ensure adherence to industry ethical standards.
  • Maintain inventory controls, process exceptions, and communicate adjustments to purchasing.
  • Perform regular maintenance of item records in the Trend system.
  • Optimize inventory positioning across regions, sourcing both OAN and surplus stock.
  • Support forecasting and project business planning.
  • Assist in analyzing inventory for potential vendor returns.
  • Ensure inventory settings are accurate and up to date.
  • Collect data to support performance metrics reporting.
  • Maintain minimum threshold functionality.
  • Provide buyers with key information for decision-making.
  • Continuously expand product knowledge through training and seminars.
