Job summary

Grocery Outlet is seeking an Inventory Planning professional to manage inventory health for a segment of the business, in-store and in warehouse. The role is hands-on and detail-oriented, requiring quick decisions and strong collaboration with buying teams, operators, and vendors.

You will analyze SKU performance, manage Open-to-Buy, forecast demand, and support profitability while partnering with store operators to optimize inventory turns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to calculate figures and margins.
• Proficient in MS Office and advanced level in Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze units, sales, and margin for SKU’s, programs and categories to maximize revenue and turns.
• Manage departmental financial plans, Open-to-Buy and analysis at department, category and SKU level.
• Assure inventory levels through planning and demand forecasts, industry trends.
• Forecast accuracy on sales dollars, ads and case projections.
• Present analytics and reports to management and coordinate with buyers.
