Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company is seeking a Materials & Inventory Analyst to support efficient management of materials and inventory across the nuclear fleet's sites. You will optimize inventory levels, standardize parts, and drive cost savings while partnering with site teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

The role focuses on improving materials effectiveness, data quality, and supplier collaboration to ensure optimized availability of parts at the lowest TCO.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of warehouse supervision or procurement/inventory management experience.
  • Demonstrated Continuous Improvement skills; Lean and/or Six Sigma preferred.
  • Strong initiative and ability to drive cost-out actions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication; ability to negotiate.
  • Broad knowledge of materials management processes.
  • Experience with financial and inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize inventory levels using optimization techniques and site partnerships.
  • Determine stocking strategies and replenishment methodologies.
  • Manage inventory reorder for assigned sites.
  • Maintain data quality for item descriptions, manufacturers, and vendors.
  • Identify standardization opportunities and low-cost substitutes.
  • Support sourcing strategies and pricing analyses.
  • Lead annual or periodic inventory reviews for warehouses.
