Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Team Lead to manage inventory for finished goods across warehouses and manufacturing points in Chesterfield, VA. You will analyze stock levels, forecast demand, and coordinate with traffic, production planning and warehouses to ensure smooth scheduling and storage.

The role requires hands-on leadership, training, and oversight of daily operations in a fast-paced environment with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory planning for finished goods and distribution centers.
• Ability to train and supervise staff in daily operations.
• Knowledge of production planning coordination and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Plans and controls inventory of finished goods for sales warehouses, distribution centers, and factory mixing points.
• Analyzes inventory levels, positioning, and planned production and sales forecasts.
• Maintains inputs to inventory systems including lead times, costs, delivery expectations and new product introductions.
• Coordinates with traffic, production planning and warehouse personnel to ensure routing, scheduling and storage.
• Leads daily operations, training and reviewing the work of team members.
