Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a logistics and inventory specialist to manage finished goods inventory for warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing points. You will analyze inventory levels, forecast demand, and maintain inputs to the inventory system, coordinating with traffic, production planning, and warehouse teams to ensure proper routing, scheduling, and storage of goods.

Experience in inventory control and production planning is preferred.

• Experience in inventory planning and control.
• Ability to forecast demand for finished goods.
• Strong coordination with traffic,production planning and warehouse teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and control inventory of finished goods for sales warehouses, distribution centers, and factory mixing points.
• Analyze inventory levels, inventory positioning, and planned production and sales forecasts.
• Develop and maintain inputs to inventory system including lead-times, costs and delivery expectations, and new product introductions.
• Coordinate with traffic, production planning, and warehouse personnel to ensure routing, scheduling, and storage of goods.
