Job summary

Pastimes, Inc. is seeking a reliable Inventory Operations Associate to join our Chicagoland fulfillment team.

You will support multiple divisions, handling order picking and packing, receiving shipments, maintaining accurate inventory, and coordinating outbound shipments with carriers. This hands-on role reports to the Warehouse Operations Manager and offers growth opportunities in a stable, expanding company.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Physical capability to lift, carry, and move inventory regularly.
• Prior warehouse, shipping, or logistics experience a plus.
• Forklift certification is a plus – we will train the right candidate.
• Class C commercial driver’s license is a plus – we will train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders ranging from single items to multiple pallets.
• Receive and process incoming shipments of all sizes, including individual boxes and import containers.
• Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate outbound shipping and work with carriers.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with deliveries as needed.

Job description

We are looking for a reliable, organized Inventory Operations Associate to join our team. Reporting to our Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be the backbone of our fulfillment operation, supporting several Pastimes divisions. This is a hands‑on role with real variety – one day you may be processing individual orders, and the next you could be helping receive an import container or coordinate a multi‑pallet freight shipment to a national convention.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, keeps things organized, and is ready to grow.

Your Day-to-Day

• Pick and pack orders ranging from single items to multiple pallets
• Receive and process incoming shipments of all sizes, including individual boxes and import containers
• Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and inventory accuracy
• Coordinate outbound shipping and work with carriers
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with deliveries as needed

Where You’ll Work
