Job summary

Summit Polymers is seeking a Supervisor, Materials (Warehouse) to oversee inventory accuracy and flow across the warehouse. You will coordinate with vendors, the Materials team, purchasing, and finance to maintain precise daily, weekly, and monthly records of inventory and freight.

Responsibilities include supervising warehouse staff, maintaining min/max inventories of resins/colorants, scheduling freight, handling domestic and international paperwork, and supporting quarterly physical

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years experience in materials or related field.
• Computer experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Supervisory and inventory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct activities of the materials warehouse
• Maintain and organize inventories
• Complete paperwork for domestic and international shipments to engineering tool shops and SPI locations including customs paperwork
• Maintain min/max inventories of resins/colorants supplied to SPI plants
• Coordinate quarterly physical inventories
• Schedule freight shipments
• Expedites orders as required
• Load/unload conveyance vehicles as necessary
• Maintain housekeeping standards
• Issue forecasts and orders to suppliers
• Special projects and assignments as directed
