Job summary

Olgoonik in San Diego, CA seeks a Regular Full Time Materials Handler to perform the full range of distribution duties, including stowing, kitting, and issuing material. You will verify MIL-STD 129N compliance and input data in DSS, while counting, weighing and labeling items in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year general experience and 1+ year in material handling or QA. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required; MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two plus years of college or technical school highly desirable.
• Minimum one-year general experience.
• Minimum one-year specific experience in material handling, supply, distribution, inspection, QA or related area.

Responsibilities

• Identify, examine, classify, accept, reject, and dispose of material as per regulations.
• Load material on and off skids, pallets, and stands.
• Prepare labels as required.
• Fill MROs on a timely basis.
• Prepare various reports relating to distribution.
• Operate tools and equipment in performance of duties.
• Receive data from, and input data to, DSS and other automated systems.
• Operate MHE as assigned and hold appropriate license.
• Count, weigh, record data, apply tags and labels.
