Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a Materials Management position focused on inventory control and supply distribution. You will inspect, stock, and issue materials and equipment, maintain records, and ensure clean, safe conditions in the Food Service area when applicable.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory levels, processing orders when stock runs low, receiving shipments, scanning and verifying packing slips, and organizing records for stock control.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Less than 1 year related experience required, or preferred
• Ability to perform basic math and read/write in English; basic computer skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in care and maintenance of departmental equipment and supplies.
• Maintain inventory integrity to prevent stock-outs in warehouse and nursing units.
• Prepare and maintain shipping records, bills of lading, and related documentation.
• Receive and verify incoming materials, compare packing slips with purchase orders, and report discrepancies.
