Job summary

AMTEC CORPORATION in Wisconsin seeks a Material Handler to ensure inventory accuracy and the smooth flow of materials in and out of the warehouse to meet production schedules.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, verifying counts, issuing materials to Production, assisting in shipments, maintaining inventory records, and supporting annual physical counts. Forklift experience and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• HS/Diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years previous Warehouse/Inventory Control experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record required.
• Previous Fork Lift experience required, certification a plus (Rider and Stand Up Lifts).
• Position requires attention to detail, good communication skills, good math skills, computer experience (Microsoft office).
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Accurately receive material delivered, including unloading shipments and verifying counts and addresses.
• Verify counts against pack slips and certificates; enter receipt information into inventory system.
• Issue material from warehouse to Production using requisitions and inventory system to verify part/lot numbers and quantities.
• Assist in shipment of materials as directed by Supervisor.
• Maintain reports and forms for tracking physical inventory and product lot formation.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist in yearly physical inventory in the warehouse.
• Execution of transportation for components and finished goods.
• Perform other related duties as required.
• Must be able to be an approved BATFE employee possessor.
