Job summary

Providien Thermoforming LLC in California is hiring for a warehouse associate on a temp-to-hire, full-time basis. The role involves handling materials, inventory control, and customer service within the warehouse.

The position requires forklift operation experience, High school diploma or GED, and 2+ years in warehouse/inventory roles. OSHA safety compliance, RF gun proficiency, and ERP knowledge (IQMS) are valued. Travel is minimal and schedule is Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of warehouse/inventory experience.
• One year forklift operation experience.
• Forklift Operator certificate within the first 60 days of employment.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial equipment (forklift, pallet jack) to move materials safely.
• Support material flow by staging tools and materials per production schedule.
• Receive, verify, and document incoming shipments; unload trucks.
• Record inventory transactions in IQMS to maintain accuracy.
• Store materials in designated rack locations with FIFO and traceability.
• Maintain organization of CNC fixtures and thermoforming tools.
• Prepare materials for internal transfer or external shipment.
• Support 5S, waste management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist Shipping and Receiving to meet business demands.
• Follow safety policies and report hazards or near misses.
• Perform routine inventory cycle counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct basic equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
