Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son is seeking a Material Coordinator to maintain accurate inventory of products, materials, and raw ingredients and ensure our system reflects physical stock.

You will work closely with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Production to monitor high-dollar items, ensure FIFO usage, and investigate discrepancies. The role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to operate forklifts and RF scanning equipment within SQF-compliant facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years’ relevant shipping and receiving work experience required.
• 1-2 years’ inventory experience preferred.
• 1-2 years’ experience operating Forklift / Industrial Equipment.
• 1-2 years’ experience using the company’s ERP system and/ or choice of software.
• Fluent in English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy for products, materials, and raw ingredients.
• Ensure inventory in the system matches physical counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Support FIFO consumption of raw materials with production.
• Print and apply pallet tags to all manufactured product.
• Report RF gun and label printer issues to IT.
• Manage daily cycle counts and inventories for production needs.
• Keep warehouse organized and comply with SQF requirements.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Warehouse teams to monitor high-dollar items.
