Job summary

Centro, Inc. is hiring a Production Materials Coordinator (Storekeeper) in Benson, MN. You will manage inventory, move materials, and support production operations, ensuring materials are available for manufacturing with accurate records.

Responsibilities include picking, staging, receiving, transfers, cycle counts, and communicating shortages to teams. Must follow safety and 5S principles; forklift certification is preferred. Pre-employment screening applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Manufacturing, warehouse, inventory control, or shipping/receiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate and fulfill production pick lists.
• Pull, scan, stage, and distribute materials for manufacturing.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Assist with cycle counts, audits, and inventory discrepancy investigations.
• Communicate material shortages and expedite needs to purchasing, scheduling, and production teams.
• Process material transfers and returned inventory.
• Receive, store, and organize incoming materials.
• Follow FIFO (first-in, first-out) inventory practices.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area using 5S principles.
• Assist with material handling of products.
• Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and other duties as assigned.
