Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking a Material Control Analyst to join an excellent team in Claycomo, MO. This role focuses on coordinating inventory controls, data analytics, and continuous improvement within the logistics operation.

The analyst will enter records, generate reports, track shipments, and work with suppliers to resolve issues while driving cost savings and efficiency. Monday–Friday, 1st shift, onsite at Penske facilities.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years inventory/auditing/transportation experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred.
• Fundamental understanding of transportation, supply chain and logistics concepts.
• Advanced computer skills including Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Enter records and generate reports using a computer system.
• Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure conformance to standards.
• Read work orders or instructions to determine assignments.
• Complete daily logs and track shipments to meet deadlines.
• Identify and implement cost savings and process improvements.
• Collaborate with customers and suppliers to resolve issues and optimize flow.
