Job summary

Sika is seeking an Inventory Analyst in Marion, Ohio to oversee master data and inventory, ensuring data accuracy across the supply chain. You will manage material codes, coordinate with local sites, and drive data integrity under supervision of the VP of Supply Chain.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing or inventory roles, proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office, and a focus on cross-functional collaboration to improve forecast accuracy and reduce slow-moving inventory.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Supply Chain or Business required; APICS is a plus.
• 3+ years in manufacturing, supply chain, master data or inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supply chain master data workflow from creation to release of material codes.
• Local business liaison between project integration teams and local sites for new code requirements.
• Coordinate with functions to ensure accurate code setup.
• Collaborate with demand planning to ensure code creation and forecast accuracy.
• Lead initiatives to cleanse and maintain master data.
• Develop and train local users on master data best practices.
• Maintain understanding of business processes to ensure proper master data maintenance.
• Understand upstream/downstream applications and data impact on processes.
• Collaborate to optimize inventory utilization and reduce slow-moving/obsolete inventory.
• Identify root causes of slow-moving inventory and drive corrective actions.
• Facilitate monthly Inventory business reviews and manage inventory matrix.
• Perform other work as required by VP of Supply Chain.
