UCL Connections is seeking an Inventory Manager in Carrollton, TX to oversee inventory control, receiving, shipping, and warehouse operations. You will lead a team, manage daily cycles, and ensure accuracy and safety in all processes within a fast‑paced environment.

The role requires strong leadership, forklift experience, and the ability to enforce corrective actions while maintaining an efficient operation. First shift, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of inventory control experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of forklift operating experience required.
• Previous warehouse, material handling, shipping, receiving, or manufacturing experience.
• Previous supervisory, lead, or team‑management experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to provide direction and hold employees accountable.
• Experience addressing performance issues and implementing corrective actions preferred.
• Experience monitoring shipments and resolving shipping/receiving discrepancies.
• Strong understanding of inventory control practices.
• Ability to accurately count, record, track, and reconcile materials.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory/ERP systems.
• Ability to read and understand labels, part numbers, work orders, purchase orders, and shipping/receiving documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and make solid operational decisions.
• Must be dependable and maintain consistent attendance.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily inventory activities to ensure accurate inventory levels and records.
• Monitor inventory transactions and material movement throughout the facility.
• Conduct and oversee cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, overages, and damaged materials.
• Verify quantities, part numbers, and materials against purchase orders, work orders, receiving documents, and production requirements.
• Ensure materials are properly labeled, organized, stored, and easily accessible.
• Maintain accurate inventory information within the company’s inventory/ERP system.
• Identify potential inventory issues before they impact production.
• Establish and maintain organized warehouse locations and inventory‑control processes.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure materials and products are received and shipped accurately and on schedule.
• Coordinate receiving activities, including unloading, inspection, counting, labeling, and proper storage of incoming materials.
• Verify shipments against purchase orders, packing lists, shipping documents, and other applicable documentation.
• Monitor outgoing shipments and ensure orders are properly prepared, staged, documented, and loaded.
• Communicate with internal departments regarding shipment status, material availability, shortages, delays, and discrepancies.
• Address shipment issues and elevate significant problems to management when necessary.
• Ensure materials are properly secured and handled to prevent damage or loss.
• Lead and provide daily direction to inventory, warehouse, and material‑handling employees.
• Assign daily tasks and establish priorities based on production and operational requirements.
• Ensure employees understand their responsibilities, deadlines, and performance expectations.
• Monitor employee productivity, attendance, work quality, safety, and adherence to company procedures.
• Provide coaching and direction when employees are not meeting expectations.
• Address performance concerns promptly and professionally.
• Work with HR and management when formal corrective action or additional intervention is required.
• Help train new employees on inventory, warehouse, material‑handling, safety, and company procedures.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, communication, and a productive workplace.
• Lead by example and maintain a professional attitude during high‑pressure or high‑volume periods.
