Job summary

Basil Family Dealerships in Williamsville, NY is seeking an Inventory Manager to oversee vehicle inventory operations across the dealership. You will manage incoming and outgoing inventory, coordinate with sales and service, optimize processes, and ensure all vehicles meet company standards before reaching the lot or showroom.

Responsibilities include overseeing inventory, collaborating with internal teams, and maintaining accurate records in the DMS.

• Manage inventory flow from acquisition to retail readiness, including inspections, detailing, photography, and merchandising.
• Coordinate with sales, service, and reconditioning teams to ensure timely vehicle turn-around.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in dealership management systems (DMS).
• Monitor market trends and pricing to assist with vehicle valuations and aging inventory strategies.
• Ensure all vehicles are properly stocked, tagged, photographed, and displayed for optimal visibility.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement improved inventory processes.
• Ensure compliance with all internal policies and manufacturer guidelines.
